Polling stations in Bournemouth, Broadstone, and Poole opened at 7am today for town council elections, allowing voters until 10pm to choose 50 councillors for three new town councils under BCP Council. Bournemouth and Poole will each elect 21 councillors, while Broadstone will elect 8. These councils will independently manage their budgets. Voters can find polling locations on the BCP Council website and must bring a valid form of photo ID. Ballot verification and counting begin tomorrow at 10am, with results expected to be shared on BCP Council’s official website and social media.
