That’s the Day Returns to Bournemouth Pavilion

“That’ll Be The Day,” the UK’s longest-running rock and pop variety show, celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special performance at Bournemouth Pavilion on May 10. The show has traveled over 1.5 million miles, surpassing NASA’s Artemis II mission. Founder Trevor Payne noted their extensive touring and fondness for Bournemouth, which has hosted the show for 24 consecutive seasons since 1997. Despite initially planning to retire, Payne was encouraged by his daughter to continue. He has rarely missed a performance, emphasizing his commitment as long as audiences still enjoy the show.
