RNLI volunteers responded to reports of two paddleboarders in distress in Poole Harbour. One individual reached the shore, while the other was found clinging to a mooring post, severely cold. The lifeboat crew rescued the latter and transported them to Salterns Marina for medical treatment before handing them over to ambulance services. The rescue occurred amid sudden adverse weather, marked by strong winds and rain. Crews emphasized the importance of wearing buoyancy aids and carrying means to call for help when participating in water activities.
