On May 4, Dorset Police responded to reports of an altercation involving two men and occupants of a car on a ferry, where a knife was displayed. A subsequent incident occurred between a man and a group in Sandbanks near the ferry terminal. No injuries were reported. Police arrested two men: a 25-year-old for possession of an offensive weapon and racially aggravated public order offences, and a 35-year-old for affray. Witnesses indicated the incident escalated after a dog was frightened by a revved engine, leading to a threat with a knife. Both suspects are in custody.
