The Teddy Rocks Festival took place from May 1 to 3 at Charisworth Farm, attracting thousands and promoting a charitable cause. Initially started in 2011 by Tom Newton to raise funds for Teddy20, a children’s cancer charity after losing his brother, the festival has now raised over £250,000. This year’s lineup featured tribute acts like Elvana and The Hoosiers, bringing a vibrant atmosphere. Despite pandemic challenges, the festival generated £60,000 in 2022 and continues to grow, expanding into a multi-stage event with camping scheduled for 2026. Newton credits loyal supporters for making a significant impact on children’s lives.
