Tim Cook, 67, has retired after 38 years at REIDsteel in Christchurch, where he significantly contributed to the company’s growth. He served as commercial director for the past 12 years, fostering strong global relationships and showcasing the company’s capability in challenging locations. REIDsteel earned multiple accolades, including four Queen’s Awards for export and international trade. Cook began as an engineering apprentice in 1975 and progressed through various roles before his director appointment in 2014. His retirement celebration included colleagues and family. Cook plans to travel through Europe with his wife and spend more time with family.
