Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show features horseboarding this year

The Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show, on August 19 and 20, will debut horseboarding, an exciting sport pairing a horse, rider, and mountainboarder in timed races up to 33mph. Show organizer Cat Harris expressed excitement about this addition, highlighting its fit with traditional rural events. Other attractions include Shetland pony racing, terrier and ferret racing, and a family dog show. Visitors can enjoy equine displays, livestock exhibitions, and a variety of shopping and food options. With over 30 free activities, the show promises an engaging experience for all attendees celebrating farm, food, and country life.
