Bournemouth’s Oak Academy charity colour run raises £1,500

A charity colour run at Oak Academy in Bournemouth recently saw over 350 students aged 11 to 16 participate, raising over £1,500 for house charities. Organiser Matt Pretty expressed delight at the increased participation compared to last year, with an additional 100 students joining in. The event featured a 1km course where participants completed laps while being showered in coloured powder. Student Ronny described the experience as “the best day at school.” Principal Hayley Richley praised the event’s role in promoting community spirit and its status as a highlight in the school calendar.
