Cyber training rates improve

Dorset Council has reported an increase in staff completion rates for mandatory cyber security training, rising from approximately 65% to 80%. This improvement addresses previous concerns from councillors regarding low participation rates. Changes in how completion figures are calculated played a role, as earlier reports included external staff and those unable to complete training due to long-term sickness. The council indicated that staff who consistently fail to complete the training might face restricted access to certain IT systems, and councillors are now also expected to participate in the training.
