Ted Barton, a 95-year-old resident at Colten Care’s Avon Cliff care home in Bournemouth, rediscovered his love for tap dancing thanks to a class organized by staff at St Mark’s Church. He enjoyed the experience, recalling the joy of wearing tap shoes again and tapping along with the music. Ted’s passion for dance dates back to his youth and continued through his army service in Germany, where he also met his late wife. The welcoming atmosphere of the class, led by former professional dancer Yvonne Zaremskyi, made him feel like a star as he participated in the lively dance sessions.
