The HSD School Band from Harbour School Dorset will perform at Purbeck Art Weeks’ opening event at Rollington Barn, Wareham, on May 22 at 4 PM. Catering to children with autism and special educational needs, music is a vital part of their learning. The band comprises students from Year 5 to Year 11, led by music teacher Miguel Cruz. Over the past two years, the ensemble has evolved, incorporating rock, pop, and alternative classics into their repertoire. Their performances emphasize teamwork, creativity, and the excitement of live music, showcasing artists like Nirvana and Amy Winehouse.
