This initiative aims to help local restaurants attract customers during quieter times while allowing diners to explore new dining options affordably. Founder Mat Weir emphasized the mutual benefits for the hospitality sector and the community. Notable participating eateries include DrgnFly, Lazy Fox, and Bistro Du Vin. Established in New Zealand, First Table now operates in 19 UK cities with over 1,700 restaurants, allowing users to book via its app or website.
