Bournemouth University (BU) students in Sports Performance and Exercise Science had exclusive access to the AFCB Performance Centre, opened by ex-manager Andoni Iraola and owner Bill Foley in March 2025. During a tour of the £32 million facility, featuring an indoor pitch, outdoor pitches, and a medical suite, students emphasized the importance of real-world experience. Jean Apichaya Runglerdkriangkrai noted that interacting with local clubs like AFC Bournemouth enhances their education by fostering connections and industry understanding. Following the tour, students engaged with players Alex Tóth and Veljko Milosavljević in a Q&A session, enriching their learning experience.
