Bournemouth man leaves ex-partner with six-inch facial scar

Stefan Fry, 32, from Bournemouth, was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for 18 months, for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, which resulted in a deep cut to her left eyebrow. During a confrontation after a night out, Fry punched her, causing a scar that exposed part of her skull. This incident occurred while Fry was already on a suspended sentence for previous violence. The victim highlighted the lasting emotional trauma from the attack. Fry was ordered to complete rehabilitation programs, pay £1,000 in compensation, and has expressed remorse and a desire to improve his life.
