Two AUB Students Nominated for Batsford Prize 2026

The shortlist for the 2026 Batsford Prize was announced on April 28, showcasing emerging talent from Arts University Bournemouth and other institutions. Spanning fine art, applied arts, textiles, book illustration, and architecture, this year’s theme is ‘connections.’ AUB students Alice Rose and Ebberley have been nominated in the Applied Art & Textiles category for their sustainable works. Vaughan Grylls, chair of the judges, praised the high quality of submissions. Winners will be revealed on May 13 during a ceremony at the Batsford Gallery, with £4,000 in prizes awarded across categories.
