Forest Holme Hospice has expanded its Hospice at Home service to Poole, providing personalized end-of-life care in patients’ homes. This initiative, successful at the Macmillan Unit in Christchurch, relies on community support and a partnership with Macmillan Caring Locally. Since late 2025, teams have provided continuous care for patients and families, allowing them to remain in a familiar environment during difficult times. The hospice charity has committed £800,000 over two years to fund this expansion and aims to reach more individuals in need. This service enhances accessibility to compassionate care in the community.
