A proposed £1.8 million extension for Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre in Christchurch aims to enhance facilities by adding two new studios for fitness classes and community activities. The BCP Council submitted the application after securing funding approval. The extension will be two stories high and situated at the rear of the centre, which already features swimming pools and a gym but lacks dedicated studio space. Parking will remain the same, with eight new bicycle spaces included. Public consultation is open until mid-May, with a decision anticipated afterward.
