Fire erupts in Charminster building prompting evacuation of 13

A fire at a commercial premises on Charminster Road, Bournemouth, prompted the evacuation of 13 residents from nearby flats as a safety precaution. The fire, which began around 5:09 AM on April 27, was attended by crews from three fire stations. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire, suspected to be accidental, has not been deemed suspicious. The road was reopened by 10 AM. Dorset Police confirmed that police assistance was not necessary during the emergency response.
