The UK’s lifestyle awards for SMEs attracted nearly half a million votes last year, showcasing local businesses. The 2026 finals feature almost 5,000 SMEs across 21 categories in 23 regions, with the top ten in each category moving forward. Notable Dorset contenders include The Dog House in Gillingham, celebrated for its community ties; Sìdà Yoga on Portland, seeking a second win; and Washingpool farm shop, valued for its long-standing service. Other finalists include various venues and specialty shops across Dorset, with voting open until May 26. Winners will be announced on June 16.
