On April 18, members of the Dorset Dinkers Pickleball Club gathered at Canford School Sports Centre, raising £652.29 for Parkinson’s UK during a charity session marking World Parkinson’s Day. The event featured 35 participants, including both experienced and new players, and emphasized inclusivity and community spirit through friendly competition over two hours. Funds raised will support research and improve living conditions for those affected by Parkinson’s, a rapidly growing neurological condition. The club is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels, inviting interested individuals to join future sessions.
