Steve Jackson and Joseph Phillips, co-principals of Tregonwell Academy in Bournemouth, have been nominated for the Specialist Provision School Leader of the Year at the Tes Schools Awards. Jackson expressed pride in the recognition of their commitment to the school community, highlighting the staff’s dedication that led to three consecutive Ofsted Outstanding ratings. Phillips emphasized the significant improvements made to help students with special emotional and mental health needs achieve their potential through an innovative curriculum. The awards ceremony will be held on June 19 at Grosvenor House Hotel, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan.
