Wessex Water’s recent scheme in Poole aims to enhance environmental resilience and upgrade sewer capacity to accommodate the area’s growing population. Managed by YTL Construction UK, the project involved installing over 200 meters of new rising main and replacing an existing pipeline that services half of Poole’s sewer network. The project, which lasted seven months and cost £2 million, was completed on schedule with minimized local disruption. Temporary measures were implemented to maintain public access, and the area has been restored post-work. Wessex Water has thanked local residents for their patience throughout the process.
