Vikki Slade MP calls for emergency fuel duty reduction

Vikki Slade, the Liberal Democrat MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole, has called for a 10p emergency cut in fuel duty to alleviate rising fuel costs for residents. With inflation rising to 3.3% and fuel prices recently surging, she highlighted that nearly a third of regular drivers have cut back on other expenses to afford fuel.
