Henry Leung and Robert Broomfield engaged in staged robberies, captured on CCTV, but later faced real criminal incidents at a Post Office managed by Leung. In November 2022, a knife-wielding robber stole £35,704.34, which led to security offers declined by Leung. By January 2023, during a second robbery, £60,000 was taken, and the duo was arrested shortly after with bags of cash. Both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal and received suspended sentences, along with community service. A hearing is pending to recover the stolen funds, totaling £95,737.71, of which £35,939.71 remains unaccounted for.
