Motorcycle collection expected to exceed £200,000 at auction

A collection of nearly 50 classic motorcycles, accumulated over two decades, is set to be auctioned for over £200,000 on June 18 at the Haynes Motor Museum. The bikes, dating from the 1930s to the 1980s, include notable brands like Triumph, Norton, and Honda. George Beale, head of Charterhouse’s classic motorcycle department, discovered the bikes in a West Country home where they replaced typical living room furniture. The collector, having ceased riding, aims for enthusiasts to appreciate these machines. Charterhouse specializes in classic vehicle valuations from its Sherborne base.
