Ringwood Road in Poole will undergo three phases of closure due to the ‘Transforming Cities Fund’ scheme, aimed at enhancing safety and journey reliability. The closures will occur from 7 PM to 5 AM, starting from May 15, 2026, with specific dates including May 20-27 and May 29-June 1, where no work is planned on the May 25 bank holiday. Emergency access will be maintained, and diversion routes will be clearly marked. The Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council has stressed the need for these improvements while thanking the public for their patience during the process.
