Jacob Halling, a 14-year-old from Poole, received the Young Fundraiser of the Year award at Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Stronger Together Awards on April 20. He raised funds through personalized magic card videos, benefiting those with muscle-wasting conditions. Gabby Logan OBE, the event host, praised the work of individuals supporting the neuromuscular community. Jacob, also a young carer for his mother, advocates for people with disabilities. The awards celebrated various achievements in volunteering and community support at Salesforce Tower in London, highlighting the contributions of many dedicated individuals in the fight against muscular dystrophy.
