Liverpool man’s case adjourned for ‘racial abuse’ of Antoine Semenyo

Mark Mogan, 47, was supposed to face trial for racially aggravated behavior during an August football match at Anfield, but his defense argued he is unfit to plead due to cerebral palsy and communication difficulties. Following the revelation, witnesses were informed not to attend, and the trial was adjourned to September for a psychiatric report. Mogan was released on bail with conditions prohibiting contact with the affected player, Antoine Semenyo, and attendance at regulated matches. The incident occurred during a game where Semenyo reported the abuse, leading to Mogan’s ejection from the stadium.
