Pavilion Dance South West will feature “Burnt Offering,” a contemporary piece by 99 Art Company, on May 15 as part of the ninth annual A Festival of Korean Dance. The UK tour also launches at The Place in London and Tramway in Glasgow on May 13. Festival highlights include 99 Art Company’s performances, the UK debut of Ryu and Friends’ “GRAVITY,” and a return of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company with choreographed works by Young-doo Jung. “Burnt Offering” explores daily life’s beauty and meaning through evocative movement inspired by the Seungmu dance tradition.
