The NASUWT has announced strikes on April 30, May 1, and May 7 due to anticipated job cuts by Initio Learning Trust affecting several schools, including Corfe Hills School. Headteacher Sara Jones emphasized the need for educational continuity and stated that efforts are ongoing to negotiate with NASUWT to avert strikes. Over 7,000 students are served across 19 schools within the Trust, which faces restructuring due to funding linked to student numbers. Key worker and vulnerable students will still be able to attend, although year groups preparing for exams may face disruptions. A decision regarding closures will be made on April 24.
