Animal Welfare Party’s Manifesto for Local Council Elections

On May 7, residents of Bournemouth, Broadstone, and Poole will vote for new town councils, established after the BCP Council’s October decision to create them. The Animal Welfare Party is contesting in Bournemouth’s Winton East, Charminster West, and Talbot Woods wards and in Poole’s Branksome West and Penn Hill wards. The party advocates for politics that balances human, animal, and environmental interests, emphasizing compassion, sustainability, and community cohesion. Key priorities include protecting wildlife, expanding biodiversity, opposing harmful developments, promoting plant-based diets, and enhancing respect for animal rights in local decision-making.
