Tui Airlines announces shortage of jet fuel supplies

On April 16, IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol warned that Europe might face jet fuel shortages within six weeks due to supply issues related to the Iran conflict, potentially leading to flight cancellations. He cautioned that economically vulnerable nations could experience inflation and recession if the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked past May. Amid concerns, TUI Airlines assured customers that safety is a priority and that operations from Bournemouth Airport are proceeding as scheduled, with no current travel advisories against their European destinations. They will inform customers of any changes affecting upcoming travel.
