A fire at Dan Walters Motor Mechanic on Green Lane, Fordingbridge, occurred shortly before 11 PM on April 5, destroying the workshop and its contents. Nine fire engines battled the blaze, which left owner Dan Walters and his family to rebuild after 33 years of service to the community. Despite the devastation, Walters is determined to support his customers and maintain operations. A GoFundMe campaign launched on April 12 has raised over £15,000 to help them recover. The family expressed gratitude for community support and the firefighters’ efforts in containing the fire. Donations continue to pour in.
