The Pink Champagne Dragon Boat Team will host a fundraising regatta at Hengistbury Outdoor Centre on September 27, aimed at providing enjoyable racing and raising support for breast cancer survivors. Founded in 2008 with assistance from the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, the team is part of a global movement with over 300 teams. Based at Bournemouth’s Hengistbury Head, they foster a community for members to enhance fitness and mental well-being through paddling. The event highlights awareness and the significance of staying active post-diagnosis, with funds generated aiding essential costs like safety equipment and boat maintenance.
