On April 11, a significant emergency response occurred in Bournemouth after reports of individuals in the water near Bournemouth Pier. The Poole Coastguard was notified at 6:08 PM and coordinated with various teams, including RNLI Lifeboats and a rescue helicopter. During the search, one person was rescued near Boscombe Pier and taken to safety. Despite extensive searches by Coastguard teams from Point House to Bournemouth Pier, no outstanding missing person reports emerged, leading responders to stand down pending more information.
