Person rescued from water at Salterns Marina Sandbanks

On April 8 at Salterns Marina, a vessel experienced a technical malfunction, prompting a rescue operation. The RNLI Swanage all-weather lifeboat successfully retrieved both the vessel and a casualty, transporting them to shore. Upon arrival, the coastguard team conducted a care handover from the lifeboat crew. After securing the vessel and ensuring all parties, including the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC), were satisfied, the incident was resolved. The individual was monitored by the coastguard until release arrangements were made, with assistance provided by the Poole Coastguard Rescue Team, RNLI, and JRCC.
