Verwood volunteer helps carers go digital

Unpaid carers in Dorset are learning to utilize online tools for support through sessions led by volunteer Colin Payne. At Parley Place Care Home, carers were introduced to Bridgit, an online service connecting over 24,100 users to tailored advice. This initiative has identified over £700,000 in carer benefits and aims to empower carers with digital skills for easier access to resources.
