Pupils from Budmouth and Wey Valley Academy will receive antibiotics at Budmouth this weekend following three confirmed cases of meningococcal infection in Weymouth. Anticipating high attendance, traffic changes have been implemented, directing vehicles through the Chickerell Link Road. Dorset Council advises parents to avoid the area if possible due to expected congestion. All westbound traffic will be rerouted via the Marquis of Granby traffic lights, while those traveling from Chickerell should also utilize the Chickerell Link Road for access to the town and Budmouth Academy. The health clinic will operate on Saturday and Sunday.
