Poole Civic Centre sale delay confirmed

BCP Council has announced that the sale of Poole Civic Centre, expected to be finalized at £5.25 million with a Manchester developer, is still ongoing and not yet complete. Originally scheduled for completion by March 2026, the delay has no official explanation. The Civic Centre has been unused since 2022, and it ceased operations after the formation of BCP Council in 2019. Proposed plans for the site aim to meet local housing needs, and the council previously indicated the sale could save £228,000 annually. The site’s car park has been closed since February.
