Ken Wood (60) and his brother Neil (59) are cycling over 1,200 miles in May to raise funds for Julia’s House children’s hospice and dementia charity Race Against Dementia. They retired from serious cycling for nearly 40 years but decided to embark on this journey after losing their parents. The brothers plan to average 52-54 miles daily over 23 days, with 20kg of gear and varied accommodations. They aim to raise £2,500 for each charity and will share updates on social media. Their families will celebrate with them at the finish line in Scotland.
