A new swimming venue in Bournemouth, operated by Puddle Ducks Dorset, will open at Moordown St John’s Primary School this April, expanding its baby and preschool programme. The swim school currently teaches over 800 children weekly, focusing on building water confidence and essential swimming skills through supportive lessons. Owner Jane Bozic expressed excitement about the expansion, highlighting its success and demand. This initiative is vital as national research indicates that only 70% of Year 7 students can swim 25 metres competently, emphasizing the importance of early swimming lessons for safety and skill development.
