Conservative candidates will participate in the Bournemouth Town Council elections for Bournemouth West on May 7. Residents of Bournemouth, Poole, and Broadstone will elect councillors for three new town councils established by BCP Council in October 2025. Despite previous criticisms regarding the costs of this new local government level, the Conservatives believe in the importance of community representation. They will field candidates in four wards: Kinson, Northbourne Redhill Wallisdown North, Winton East Charminster West, and Bournemouth Central West Cliff and Westbourne. Chair John Beesley emphasizes the need for scrutiny and accountability from elected members.
