Lee Collier from Blandford, Dorset, will run his 30th marathon and seventh London Marathon next weekend in memory of his daughter, Phoebe, stillborn in December 2005. Since 2008, he has raised over £26,000 for Action Medical Research, a charity focused on research for children and babies. Collier began running marathons to cope with his grief and honor Phoebe’s memory, especially poignant as she would have turned 20 in December 2025. He hopes that his efforts help other families avoid similar heartbreak. Collier’s dedication has been recognized by Action Medical Research, highlighting his significant contribution.
