The updated strategy includes specialist support for 250 schools, with intensive measures for the 50 most challenging. Initiatives like a Safety In & Around Schools Partnership, backed by £1.2 million, will enhance safety during school commutes. Additionally, over £34 million is allocated to tackle County Lines gangs, focusing on education to prevent knife crime.
