On April 16, 2026, thousands of families in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole received primary school offers, with over 99% of children getting placements at their preferred schools. A total of 3,151 Reception applications were submitted by the January deadline, resulting in 99.3% of Reception, 99.24% of Year 3, and 98.56% of Year 5 applicants securing spots. Parents can view offers online and will receive confirmation letters. Lisa Linscott from BCP Council highlighted that most families received their preferred placements and encouraged those with questions to contact the admissions team.
