BCP Council has approved new ward boundaries for upcoming town councils following a Community Governance Review held from October 2024 to 2025. Bournemouth will be divided into 10 wards, Poole into 15 wards, and Broadstone into two (East and West). Each ward will elect either one to three councillors. The new boundaries will be effective for elections on May 7, and residents are encouraged to check the council’s interactive map for confirmation of their ward, as some may find their town council ward differs from their existing BCP Council ward.
