Large containers of suspected oil-based paint were found illegally dumped near Bloxworth and Morden, leaking onto roads and drainage channels. Dorset Council’s Cllr Jon Andrews called it a serious fly-tipping incident disrupting traffic and requiring specialized cleanup. Over half of the substance remains, complicating the removal process, while temporary traffic lights and lane closures have been implemented. The dumped material is not household waste and won’t be accepted at recycling centers, potentially leading to significant cleanup costs. Authorities are seeking public help to identify the perpetrators.
