Weymouth’s Bridge Inn on Preston Road is preparing to reopen this Easter weekend after a full refurbishment of its interior spaces.
The pub, owned by Punch Taverns, has undergone a complete revamp of its kitchen, restaurant and bar areas, with updated décor and furnishings introduced throughout. Ahead of the reopening, invited guests attended a trial evening on Saturday, giving staff the chance to host their first visitors and refine service ahead of the official launch.
New managed partners Dave and Kirstine Taylor have taken charge of the venue, bringing experience from their previous roles at the Chatsworth Hotel and Harbour Terrace in Weymouth. They are joined by long term friend Laura Randall, who steps in as manager as the new team settles into place.
Speaking about the changes, the team said they are “looking forward to new challenges” as they take on the running of the refurbished pub. The reopening marks a new chapter for the Bridge Inn as it prepares to welcome customers back over the Easter weekend.
