Search continues for missing Weymouth woman

Weymouth police are continuing searches for a missing 21-year-old woman last seen in Bournemouth and possibly later in Bridport.

Codie was reported missing after she was last seen in Bournemouth town centre on the afternoon of Thursday 19 March 2026, with officers believing she may have travelled by train to Weymouth, before a further possible sighting was reported in Bridport later that same evening.

She is described as around 5ft 8in tall, with dyed shoulder-length blonde hair and a nose piercing, and officers have been carrying out detailed enquiries across the area in efforts to locate her and ensure she is safe.

Chief Inspector Ashley Smith said Codie “has not been seen for several days now” and confirmed that officers are continuing to follow up lines of enquiry, while urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward and assist with the search.

He also made a direct appeal to Codie, asking her to make contact with police or loved ones to confirm she is safe and well.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police, quoting incident number 26:395.
