A teenage boy was assaulted in Shaftesbury, leaving him with minor facial injuries following an incident on Thursday evening.
The incident happened at around 7.40pm on 26 March 2026 in Mampitts Lane, where it was reported the victim was assaulted by another teenager known to him, before the suspect left the area in a red Audi A3.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to assist the investigation, particularly those who may have been in the area at the time.
Police Constable Allannah Clark said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.”
She added that motorists in the area are being urged to check any dashcam footage for anything that might help officers with their enquiries.
